NEW YORK – March 11, 2020 — Due to concerns about COVID-19 – specifically the need to keep our members, speakers and staff safe and our responsibility to not contribute to the spread of the disease – we have decided to cancel the in-person version of the Spring Seminar that was to take place in New York on April 2-3. The latest developments about the virus, particularly in New York, have made clear that this was the right decision. Though it is disappointing that we won’t be together in person, we plan to make many of the sessions available to members as webinars for a reduced fee.
In light of rapidly evolving circumstances, we have been convening members around the world to share best practices in real time. The insights from these calls informed a new Issue Brief developed by Page Up. We hope communicators find this to be a valuable resource as they continue to help their organizations through this difficult situation.
