Radical Relevance: The CCO’s Role in Transforming the Modern Enterprise

A period of historic upheaval is ushering in a new age for business, offering a singular opportunity to revitalize our roles, our thinking and our organizations. What is the new dynamic between a company, its people and the culture that binds them? How do we move to creating value for all stakeholders and for society? What is the digital future of the modern enterprise? Call it the era of Radical Relevance, when business has never been more relevant to societal change and the CCO has never been more relevant to the success of business. As Page reported in The CCO as Pacesetter, CCOs are right at the heart of this revolutionary transformation.

At the 2022 Spring Seminar, Page and Page Up members from across the globe will gather at a new venue in Brooklyn to reconnect and explore how we can advance our enterprises in this era of pivotal change.

COVID-19 Code of Conduct

Page has and will take into account recommendations from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) and local guidance on COVID-19. Requirements will be updated accordingly.

As an attendee at the 2022 Page Spring Seminar, you will:

Provide proof that you are fully vaccinated. “Fully vaccinated,” for purposes of this event will follow CDC guidelines. Currently, this means that you received your single-dose or completed the second dose of a two-dose series of the COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days prior to April 7. Boosters are strongly recommended if it has been five months or more since you received your second dose in a two-dose series, such as Pfizer or Moderna. If you received a single-dose vaccination, such as with Johnson & Johnson, boosters are strongly recommended if it has been two months since you received your vaccine.

Provide confirmation of your vaccination status with the New York Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge at a checkpoint prior to the meeting start time with a combination of proof of vaccination and proof of personal identification. Sufficient proof of vaccination may be demonstrated by displaying:

  • A photo or hard copy of your CDC vaccination card. Note: Negative test results will not be accepted.
  • NYC COVID Safe App
  • New York State Excelsior App
  • Official vaccine record
  • A photo or hard copy of an official vaccination record of a vaccine administered outside the United States for one of the following vaccines: AstraZeneca/SK Bioscience, Serum Institute of India/COVISHIELD and Vaxzevria, Sinopharm, or Sinovac

Examples of acceptable forms of personal identification include but are not limited to:

  • Driver’s license
  • Non-driver government ID card
  • IDNYC card
  • Passport
  • School or work ID card

Agree to participate in required daily testing for COVID-19. Page will provide self-tests to all attendees. For those staying at the hotel, self-tests will be provided at check-in. For those not staying at the hotel, self-tests will be provided at registration. A negative self-test must be presented to Page staff before being allowed to enter the ballroom space on each day of the event.

Agree that you will not attend if you feel ill, are symptomatic in any way, or have had any exposure to someone with COVID-19.

Agree that you will respect other participants and take all advisable precautions recommended by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), including, but not limited to, engaging in appropriate physical distancing, participating in the frequent washing of hands, avoiding risky environments and behaviors and choosing not to shake hands except by expressed mutual consent.

Acknowledge that, due to the circumstances created by COVID-19, there is a heightened degree of personal risk and responsibility associated with attendanceYou will not hold Page or the New York Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge, their officers, directors, employees or agents accountable, whether directly or indirectly, should you or your family contract illness arising out of your voluntary participation in the event.

Page will be taking the following precautions to encourage the health and safety of all attendees:

  • All attendees and Page event staff are required to be fully vaccinated.
  • We will follow all CDC and local guidelines in effect at the time.
  • Page has asked the New York Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge to sanitize all event spaces, public areas, dining & bar locations and guest rooms.
  • In keeping with CDC guidelines, masks are recommended. Hand sanitizer and masks will be provided at registration as a courtesy for those who are interested.
  • Page will require that all attendees and onsite Page staff test show proof of a negative test.

Please be advised that all meals will be held inside.

Guest Policy

In order to provide the best possible experience to Page members, Page Up members and 2021-23 Future Leaders Experience participants, our Spring Seminar guest policy will limit guests to spouses/partners or pre-qualified prospective members of Page and Page Up. This will ensure that Page and Page Up members are able to attend and will introduce prospective members to a high-quality Spring Seminar.

Guest attendance at full event: The spouse/partner of a Page member may be registered to attend the Spring Seminar. Page members may also register one additional guest provided they are eligible for and interested in becoming a member of Page or Page Up. Please refer to the criteria for Page membership and the criteria for Page Up membership to determine eligibility before registering a guest.

Guest registration for prospective members is not final until eligibility is confirmed by Page: Prospective members who are nominated for Page or Page Up membership prior to the Spring Seminar will have their nomination considered during the Page Board of Trustees meeting the day before the Spring Seminar. If approved, they will be recognized as new members at the event and are therefore exempted from the one-per-member guest attendee limit.

Guests may attend only one Spring Seminar prior to becoming members. To attend a future Spring Seminar, the guest must join Page or Page Up.

Dinner-only guests: Dinner guests need not be pre-qualified, and are exempt from the one-per-member limit. Members have the option of sponsoring full tables during the dinner.

For questions about Guest Policy or membership criteria, please contact Marianna Frantzis at mfrantzis@page.org.
