In 2020, we plan to run a series of Bay Area events to bring together our Page members on a regular basis to discuss the key topics that are driving each of our businesses (who for example, has not had Coronavirus conversations in the last few weeks?) and share our experiences and advice. These are peer sessions that will be driven by relevant, timely topics.
The first of these events will hosted by fintech LendingClub’s head of comms and financial health officer, Anuj Nayar. One area for discussion will be how the role of communications within an organization is evolving.
Apart from the CEO, no individual touches more internal and external stakeholders than the head of communications. No longer limited to just crisis communications, social, messaging and storytelling in pursuit of influencing opinion and fostering good will, comms now operates as the central connection point that a company can rely on to help drive its license to operate in a true multi-stakeholder environment
