About the Event

We’d like to invite you to participate in our inaugural Page Up Salon Dinner Series, a new initiative that Page Up members Stacey Bailey and Rowan Benecke have volunteered to help convene. The first of the series is planned for the evening of Tuesday, October 1 in New York City.

Our Salon Dinner discussion will feature a special guest Joe Schmidt, a CEO, serial-entrepreneur, investor, founder and a member of the UN University. Joe is currently the CEO of an NGO called Freedom United -- the world’s largest online community dedicated to abolishing human trafficking and modern slavery. Prior to Freedom United, Joe spent 20 years in digital marketing as an entrepreneur. He co-founded Canvas on Demand in 2003 and took it from a start-up to the Inc 500 list of fastest growing companies in America. In 2010, Joe sold his company to online custom products leader CafePress where he served as CMO until 2013.

This is a unique opportunity for Page Up members to network with colleagues and hear from an expert who has established brands, built businesses and created innovative strategies to reach and influence audiences. It is also an opportunity to network in smaller groups.

The Dinner Salon Series is intentionally designed to foster conversation and connection in a more intimate setting than our other networking events – approximately 8-12 people. And it’s free to attend, thanks to the Page Up Operating Committee which has agreed to cover the costs of food and drinks to help kick-off this new program.
