As we approach the Page Annual Conference on September 23-25 let’s preview some of the key discussion topics on the agenda. This year's theme, Intentional Innovation: How CCOs Build Trust in our Changing World, is especially timely as we navigate the rapid pace of technological advancement and its impact on our roles as Chief Communication Officers.

Taking place in Half Moon Bay just outside of Silicon Valley, the epicenter of global innovation, our conference will explore the critical intersection of technology and trust.

Some key themes include:

  • Building Cultures of Innovation and Purpose: Since we are hosting the conference near the famed innovation hub of Silicon Valley, there will be sessions with sector leaders on fostering winning cultures that lead with purpose and continuously innovate. Hear from executives from companies like Microsoft and Mazda to learn new ways to inspire your people.
  • C-Suite Partnerships: We will hold a number of sessions highlighting how the remit of the CCO is continuously growing, and how the nature of their C-Suite partnerships are evolving, as well. These sessions will especially highlight how to leverage relationships with other senior leaders in the c-suite and boardroom, to maximize value creation for your organization.
  • Navigating Volatile Political and Economic Conditions: Through planned sessions and spontaneous dialogue, members will have the opportunity to discuss how to best handle these uncertain economic and political times, which were recently ranked as the biggest challenges for CCOs in our annual member survey.

For those attending, I hope you take every opportunity to engage in deep, meaningful conversations with your peers. For everyone else, be on the lookout for continuing dialogue on these topics following the conference.
