Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at Page

The Page Board of Trustees is determined to increase diverse representation in our membership. That means more people of color in the most senior jobs in our profession, and that will require an industry-wide commitment to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion at all levels. This is why, in partnership with other leading organizations in our profession we created the Diversity Action Alliance. DAA has resources for leading communications organizations that provide education, insights, and thought leadership to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion within your organization and beyond.

Page’s DEI Advisory Board, comprised of Page members, Page Up members and various industry and DEI leaders, oversees Page-specific programs related to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion. The DEI Advisory Board, co-chaired by Mike Fernandez of Enbridge and Sheryl Battles of Pitney Bowes, has two task forces that work on specific programs and initiatives:

Mentoring to Accelerate Progress and Success (M.A.P.S.)

Mentoring To Accelerate Progress and Success (M.A.P.S.) is a structured one-year mentorship program from Page's DE&I Advisory Board that encourages professionals of color to stay in the communications field and guides them as they advance. M.A.P.S. works to improve diverse representation and retention in public relations and corporate communications by facilitating two-way learning, engagement, and career growth between mentors and mentees.

The program, free for mentees anywhere in their communications career journey, guarantees a mentor from the esteemed Page and Page Up Membership. The 2024 applications are closed. If you are interested in being a mentor or mentee for the next cohort, please contact Tiffany Cook at tcook@page.org.

If you have any questions or would like to provide feedback, please reach out to Carmella Glover Page’s Vice President of DE&I and President of DAA.
