Trust Across America, dedicated to unraveling the complexities of trustworthy business behavior, has selected Roger Bolton, former President and current Trustee of the Arthur W. Page Society, as one of its Top 100 Thought Leaders in Trustworthy Business Behavior.

The list of Top 100 Thought Leaders also includes such notables as Stephen M.R. Covey, Co-founder and CEO of CoveyLink Worldwide and the author of The SPEED of Trust; Indra Nooyi, Chairman and CEO of PepsiCo, and Tony Hsieh, CEO of Zappos. According to Trust Across America, "These people collectively represent a group that can genuinely transform and reverse the cycle of mistrust in business."

Barbara Kimmel, Executive Director of Trust Across America, said, "This year's recipients include leaders from the public and private sectors as well as authors, consultants, researchers and academics. Each recipient has made an extensive, positive contribution to building trust in business." The full list of honorees can be found at

Roger Bolton is an independent public relations counselor and a member of APCO Worldwide's International Advisory Council. He works closely with APCO Worldwide and Gagen MacDonald. He specializes in strategic issues, including reputation, brand and culture change.

Previously, Bolton served as senior vice president of communications at Aetna, a $35 billion provider of health care benefits. He also chaired Aetna's Council for Organizational Effectiveness – a group of senior executives responsible for helping the company achieve high performance through culture.

Bolton is a past president of the Arthur W. Page Society, and currently co-chairs the Page Society's Thought Leadership Committee. In 2009, Bolton co-authored a Special Report on The Dynamics of Public Trust in Business, a collaboration between the Page Society and the Business Roundtable's Institute for Corporate Ethics.

"Roger Bolton is an outstanding leader and has been the driver behind the Page Society's initiatives on building and sustaining Trust in business," says William Margaritis, chairman of the Arthur W. Page Society. "I am delighted that his contribution to this important leadership area is being recognized in this way."

According to Trust Across America, the Top 100 Thought Leaders were chosen after an extensive, two-year vetting process. "These individuals are inspiring organizations to look more closely at their higher purpose," said Kimmel, "to create greater value for, and trust from, all of their stakeholders."
