New York / December 1, 2025 – Page announced today the appointment of Candace Steele Flippin as the new Vice President of Thought Leadership and Professional Development. Candace will assume her role immediately.

The VP of Thought Leadership and Professional Development is a key role responsible for elevating the corporate communications profession by delivering high-impact intellectual property and strategic programming. Candace’s appointment will ensure that Page's thought leadership and learning experiences are globally relevant, insightful, inclusive, actionable, pioneering and future-focused—designed to inspire and empower senior communication leaders and their teams.

Candace’s distinguished career includes serving as chief communication officer for global companies in life sciences, financial services, and industrial technology. She has a proven track record of building global teams and leading organizations through crises and transformation. With experience in for profit, nonprofit, and academic sectors, she brings a well-informed understanding of Page’s diverse priorities.

As an Engaged Fellow at the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, she has published three professional-development books and contributed to peer-reviewed journals. As an independent researcher and author, Candace led commissioned studies on workforce and leadership trends. Notably, Candace has designed and delivered leadership development programs including founding the Global Career Advancement Institute.

These experiences have prepared her to lead Page’s thought leadership including the Page Navigator and other initiatives as well as overseeing the design of Page’s various learning experiences, such as the Future Leaders Experience (FLE) and the Page x Yale Executive Education program.

“Through my years of involvement with Page, I’ve had the privilege of contributing in many ways, including judging the case study competition, chairing a Spring Seminar, and serving on several committees,” says Candace. “This new role offers an exciting opportunity to draw on my full experience as I work closely with our members and the Page team to strengthen our thought leadership and shape learning experiences that help CCOs and their teams lead with impact.”

Candace earned her Doctor of Management from Case Western Reserve University, an MBA from Johns Hopkins University, and a BA from the University of Michigan. She also holds an Accreditation in Public Relations and is certified in Emotional Intelligence (EQ-i).
