JANUARY 27, 2025 – NEW YORK – This transition, expected to achieve financial and operational independence by March 31, 2025, and legal independence by the end of the year, marks an important milestone as the DAA enters its sixth year.

Since its founding in 2020, the DAA has been a catalyst for advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) in corporate communications. With substantial operational and financial support from Page, the DAA has delivered impactful programs and driven accountability across the profession.

To support this next phase, the Page board has approved a grant to support the DAA’s transition. Page will continue its commitment as a founding member of the DAA Board, represented by incoming Page CEO Rochelle Ford.

Carmella Glover, DAA President who also served as Page’s Vice President of DEI is now focused exclusively on leading the DAA through this transition. Her leadership has been critical to the DAA’s progress and will continue to shape its future. Page leadership is grateful to Carmella for her important service and looks forward to continued collaboration.

As the DAA becomes independent, Page remains strongly committed to DE&I within its own organization and the profession. Under Rochelle’s leadership, Page will continue to advance impactful initiatives like Diverse Future and member mentoring opportunities. Rochelle will share more details about these plans in the coming weeks.

The Page Society expresses gratitude for the DAA’s contributions to advancing equity and inclusion and looks forward to continued collaboration. Page encourages all organizations to support the DAA in this new chapter.  You may learn more about DAA and how to participate here.
