About the Event

Political shifts, climate change, social disparities, inequities, and more. Navigating today's global societal issues at the speed of news and culture with appropriate local relevance has never been more challenging. What do consumers in China expect from companies, and are companies prepared for the inevitable issues that arise? These are topics we’ll explore at our session, which will be informed by an in-depth research study. As part of a global study of consumers and C-suite leaders, Zeno surveyed more than 1,000 consumers in China for a deep dive into the role business should play in addressing societal issues. They found that Chinese consumers have high expectations around important societal topics different from every other market surveyed and corporate leaders must respond.

We’ll hear the research highlights from Ruby Fu, President of Zeno China, and Paul Mottram, Regional President of Zeno APAC. Then, Scott Kronick will lead a panel discussion with Geoff Li, Jean Liu and Gloria Li on the findings' implications and how corporate leaders and communications professionals can navigate the high expectations while protecting and advancing reputation.
