At Page, our purpose is clear: to create community among the world’s senior communications leaders to help them improve business and society. This month we’re doubling down our efforts to accelerate this purpose with new partnerships, member gatherings and thought leadership initiatives that span continents.

A Global Milestone

On June 3, Page officially joined the Global Alliance, a confederation of the world's major public relations and communication management associations, organizations and institutions, representing over 360,000 practitioners, academics and students across 126 countries.

Through this partnership, Page will continue to elevate the profession globally by advancing thought leadership, fostering community among the world’s most senior communication leaders, and equipping them with the tools to lead with purpose, clarity and corporate character. Visit the Global Alliance website to view resources that can help you and your team including guidelines related to ethical use of AI in communications. The Global Alliance is also developing global guidelines to advance diversity, equity and inclusion.

Connecting Locally and Globally

  • In the U.S., we’re hosting regional events in Washington, D.C. (June 10) and New York City (June 18) to spark conversation and connection among our members in these areas.
  • In Vienna, Page will participate in the AMEC Global Summit on Measurement and Evaluation (June 10–12), with our Director of International Affairs, Errick Towns, speaking on a panel about the intergenerational workforce. Several Page members will be speaking at this conference.
  • In Brussels, the European Association of Communication Directors (EACD) invited Page to present at its summit (June 12–13) and explore new partnership opportunities. EACD President Kim Larsen, a Page member, is helping to lead this collaboration.

Elevating the CCO at Cannes and Convening Global Leaders in Amsterdam

From June 15–17, we’ll take part in the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, hosting an intimate Page dinner and joining panels to highlight the evolving role of the CCO as a business leader. I will also preview select insights from our upcoming global CCO benchmarking study, offering a first look at how communication leaders are reshaping their teams and priorities worldwide.

Immediately following these festivities, Page will convene in Amsterdam for the Page Board of Trustees meeting and the Page International Exchange hosted at the Heineken Experience.  The conference co-chairs have planned three days of deep peer-to-peer connections, case studies, and keynote speakers including global CEOs, NGO leaders and cultural innovators. Participants will also engage in a workshop around the functional framework, launching this September, which is part of Page’s much-anticipated global CCO benchmarking study. We will also celebrate the career and retirement of Page International Vice President Peter Debrecency, whose leadership helped lay the foundation for Page’s global growth.

Deepening Our Presence in Asia

Page’s expansion in Asia continues with purpose and momentum:

  • In Tokyo, the Foreign Correspondent Club of Japan and Page are co-hosting a dinner on June 22 at 6:30 (JST) to explore The Trust Imperative: How Businesses and Media Navigate a Confidence Crisis.
  • In Shanghai, Page members will convene at Seimens on June 24 and Country Chair Scott Kronick has coordinated meetings with the Shanghai Public Relations Association, the Chinese International Public Relations Association and the Chinese Public Relations Association to deepen our partnership.
  • In Beijing, Tsinghua University will host Page members and the public relations community in Beijing for discussions about the power of our communications industry in advancing business and society.

These gatherings reflect Page’s growing collaboration across Asia and our commitment to meaningful, regionally informed dialogue.

But across borders and sectors, communications professionals helping organizations have much in common and benefit from supporting each other to advance business and society. They also have common tools when confronting these challenges:  the Page Principles and corporate character—the authentic alignment of values, purpose, and action.
