Interesting Ad Age piece (linked below) on new job popping up: "Chief Listening Officers." Call it what you want, it's an important function (although frankly, don't think it's a C-level job). Examples here have Kodak and Dell with the position reporting to the CMO. My pov: big mistake. Marketing is too narrow a perspective. But, as previously discussed, everything about social media's business implications is fair game for organizational debate. What do you think? Will the CLO position become common? If so, where will it reside in the organization?
