About the Event

Today, research indicates business is a highly trusted institution. Yet many business leaders are reluctant to leverage that trust to express support for democracy, our institutions and the importance of free and fair elections. These issues are now often seen through a political lens and many business leaders want to steer clear, despite their long-term interests to the contrary.

What can be done? Recent research by Weber Shandwick (“Pulse on America” survey, March 2024) suggests the large majority of consumers want companies to encourage free and fair elections, including voting rights and a peaceful transfer of power.

We invite US-based CCOs, or their direct reports to join us for our third Civility Call (Page’s ongoing series to address the threat of incivility in the workplace during this turbulent political campaign season) on Monday, July 15 at 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. ET. Led by Page member Bob Feldman, founder of the Dialogue Project, and Bill Boulding, dean of Duke’s Fuqua School of Business, this session promises rich, important content and provocative discussion.
