Catalyst Award

The Catalyst Award is a new Page Honors award for 2026. It celebrates historical, retired, or deceased leaders whose work was foundational or ahead of its time, and whose influence has shaped today’s communications profession and Page ethos. A Catalyst is not simply a great leader of their time, but someone whose ideas or actions changed the trajectory of the profession, often before it was widely recognized.

The award provides a path to recognize global figures, including those not widely known in the U.S., whose contributions to the field have endured over time.

The Honors Committee will actively prioritize geographic and historical diversity where significant impact has been achieved.

Page will collaborate with the Museum of Public Relations and other institutional partners to bring these stories to life.

Nomination criteria:

Historical, retired, or deceased leaders whose contribution was foundational or ahead of its time.
Figures whose influence is still visible today through the practices, standards, or institutions they helped create.
Global pioneers whose impact may be real but under-recognized, particularly outside their home region.
Nominees need not have been Page members or widely known within the current Page community.
